During the pre-construction phase, we offer permitted development advice. In short, as a homeowner, you have certain permitted development rights. If your proposed extension falls inside the stated limits, you don’t need to apply for planning permission.

Generally speaking, most single-storey property extensions that our builders construct meet permitted development criteria. Double-storey additions, however, almost always need prior approval before building work begins.

We liaise with your local authority in Kent to schedule Building Control inspections and signoffs at the required stages of construction.
